Scott Brown's Catfish Story from Lake Norman, NC

Here’s my story. 
I went fishing with my wife’s stepdad on December 26 , 2018 on Lake Norman, NC.

We were anchored up and just waiting on the fish to bite. Well my rod bent over and I reeled in a blue cat around 30 lbs. 

When I got him in the boat I gave my phone to my wife’s stepdad and asked him to take some pictures.  He still uses a flip phone and doesn’t know much about smartphones.  So I told him to just click the button and take pictures.  I let the catfish go and got the phone to look at the pictures and all I seen were selfies of him.

The sun was bright and he couldn’t see the screen.  So he didn’t know.  I couldn’t do anything but laugh.  The worst part was this was my personal best catfish.   So needless to say I didn’t get a picture of it.
