This is a compact gripper which is 10" long which makes it easy to pack away when not in use and not large enough to get in the way of your other tackle on the boat. This grip is easy to use with one hand and the quick release makes it that much easier. I always keep one on the boat- comes in handy.

I haven't had the opportunity to use this reel yet, but it looks and feels similar to some Abu reels which are far more expensive. I can't wait to get out on the water to test it out!

This reel is excellent quality especially for the price. Bought this real for surfcasting with live bait on the beach in Florida.
