i have other top brands to account for so i can honestly compare. i havent even dialed it in well & it hasnt backlashed or failed a bit! i was too excited to start fishing. its incredibly light, half as light as a spincast i own. soon as Dieter Melhorn showed it on his channel i knew i had to have it. look at it! it looks like something grandpa passed down from winching lochness monsters out of coal mines in the 1930s. old & ugly like a catfish. my grandfather was so poor he had nothing but a cane pole so had nothing to pass down but knowledge, but ill be able to pass mine down to the next one day. it will sit as an ornament on the shelf once its life has been used. im absolutely im love with it & the power handle sent to me matched the colors of the reel, which Catfish Pro makes the best power handles in the game so i bought more for my other reels.

Great rods, fit, finish is perfect. Very fast shipping and well packaged. Caught a nice 25lb Flathead on the first trip and handled it with ease. Best part about these rods is the reel seat with the trigger machined into it. They are the only rods on the market I could find with this feature and it was a major reason for the purchase. I like them so much I just bought three more .

Purchased three spinning and three bait casting rods.
I have made several trips with clients since receiving them two weeks ago. The action on the rods is great and I am sure they will handle some jumbos just fine. I fish exclusively on a lake that is known for large Channel Catfish. No Blues here. The photo is a young customer with a 22 lb.
The only issue was the USPS shipping which took two weeks.

Purchased the 600cts tournament series combo and it definitely was worth. The reel itself is very smooth and rod can handle a good fight caught a 12lbs,19lbs,21lbs flathead all in the same night ...no need to hesitate go ahead and purchase

I used to only run Gamakatsu circle hooks, but a buddy told me to try the Catfish Pro ones. I grabbed the value pack bundle and honestly, the price is hard to beat. After using them, I’m impressed. They perform really well. I’d even say better than the Gamakatsus for me. I haven’t missed a hookup yet. Super sharp, solid hooks, and they seem really well made. Definitely glad I gave them a shot.

Not sure witch one I like best the black or the orange dragon fire . But I love the free shipping.

Been testing the catfish rod out on Northern California Sturgeon. First test is the blanks ability to slinging up to 20oz of weight. Second test is the sensitivity to detect the subtle bite of a fish that goes well over 200 lbs at times. Third test is rod backbone and reel seat ability to handle the hookset of 100 lbs braid on a monster sturgeon. Lastly the ability to fight the fish while staying anchored. I’ve boated 11 fish in the last 2 weeks over 100 pounds. Biggest going 180 pounds. Many other smaller Dino’s. I’m extremely impressed with the M/H rod selection.

Ive been Fishin for 45Yrs and ive never seen or imagined a Fishing Rod as Awesome as these Black Dragon Fire Casting Rods are i guess you could say exactly what ive been looking for in a Catfish Rod 🫵🫵🫵
